Who I am
I’m Alison Robinson, providing governance, fundraising and advisory support to small charities and organisations.

I use your information to respond to enquiries, provide agreed services, manage memberships or subscriptions, process payments, and keep basic records of our work together.
If you choose to sign up to receive my newsletter or updates, I will collect your name and email address.
I will use this information to send monthly newsletters, occasional updates, and resources relevant to small charities and organisations. I will also share insights, tools, and opportunities that may be of interest
I will only send you emails if you have actively opted in.

Your information will be managed using a third-party email provider, i.e. MailerLite, and I will not share or sell your data. I will not send spam or share your details with third parties for marketing purposes.

- Contract: to provide services, manage memberships, and process payments
- Consent: where you have opted in to receive newsletters or updates
- Legal obligation: to maintain financial and tax records
- Legitimate interests: to run and improve my services in a proportionate way
Payments
Payments are processed securely via third-party providers, including Stripe and GoCardless.
When you make a payment, some of your personal information (such as your name, email address and billing details) is shared with these providers to process the transaction.
I do not store your full payment card or bank details.
If you set up a recurring payment or subscription, your payment details will be stored securely by the payment provider and used to process future payments in line with your agreement.

Sharing your information
I do not sell your data.
I only share your information with trusted third-party providers where necessary to deliver services. This includes email platforms (e.g. MailerLite), payment processors, and accounting software. These providers are only given the information they need to perform their services and are required to handle your data securely.
International data transfers
Some of the third-party services I use may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.
How I store your information
Your information is stored securely using trusted systems (e.g., email and accounting software) and is kept only for as long as necessary.
Financial records are typically retained for up to 6 years to meet legal and tax requirements. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information I hold about you, request corrections and request deletion (where appropriate).
